The Ottawa Flower Market
I’ve been attending the flower market since last summer when they had monthly pop-up markets at Somerset Square. The market came together through 6 local flower farmers/florists who aim to promote seasonal, local and sustainable blooms. This year, they have been taking pre-orders for pick-up at various locations. This fall and winter, some farmers/florist will have offerings. If you have any questions, each one of these shops can answer your floral inquiries, they are experts.
Rosalind’s Garden Blooms
Rosalind grows all of her beautiful blooms in her garden and has a rotating selection of buds based on the season. Last year, I picked up DIY dried flower wreath kits and they were a blast to put together. Rosalind also offers a variety of edible flowers and edible dried flowers!

Riverwood Gardens
Riverwood Gardens puts together some of the most gorgeous bouquets and they often put together custom bouquets for weddings.

Roam Flora
Roam Flora is a cut flower farm, with quite the impressive field of blooms. During non-pandemic years, you can visit their flower farm. They also have wedding offerings in the flower growing months.

Sylvia’s 4th Line Florals
Sylvia’s 4th Line Florals is also a flower farm that is located just outside of Perth. They also create beautiful custom bouquets for weddings throughout the year.

Amy wanted to represent her passion for plant care, and offer unique plants that aren’t always available in big-box stores. The online shop provides a curated selection of houseplants, and items are restocked every Friday.
Aquatopia Water Garden Conservatory
Aquatopia is a lovely venue for events but they also sell plants! Yes, this serene space with the koi pond and glass exterior has plants for sale. It is truly a magical space and you need to check it out. They are in Carp but worth the trip!

House of Plants

Amethyst Floral is located in Beckwith, just outside of Ottawa but I had to include them. They cater to weddings but have beautiful wreaths and offer a bouquet subscription service.

Capital Florist Ottawa offers beautiful bouquets and dried arrangements. I myself, have purchased a dried bouquet for my house. I absolutely love my bouquet and believe flower are great gifts. Langdon’s Flowers
Langdon’s has such a welcoming atmosphere every time I walk into this shop. They are located by Billings Bridge and are a family run business. Maison Anthea
This floral shop is located on Somerset. If you have ever taken a gander at Maison Anthea’s designs, you will know that they are incredible. Maison Anthea creates some stunning wedding floral designs. They also have a beautiful collection of fall wreaths for sale online. Her dried flower designs are also a great gift idea!

Mill Street Florist is in Manotick and if you’ve ever been into this shop, it is stunning. Even their porch is enviable. Their shop is closed to the public but you can support them by ordering online for curbside pick up or delivery.

Pollen Nation Floral Studio
Pollen Nation is located in Nepean and specializes in special event designs. I’ve had the opportunity to see some of their designs and I can attest, they are stunning. In their shop they also have succulents, dried floral arrangements, artwork and more. Additionally, their creations include unique eco-focused naturals combined with one-off locally sourced up-cycled vases and vessels.
