Since we have all been spending a little more time at home, the majority of us are lounging in our coziest gear. While some of us are living in sweatsuits, other are lounging in matching loungewear sets and coordinated sets. If you are looking to support local, small business or Canadian brands, here are some options.
I do have to say, when I embarked on my research of Canadian lounge-wear and casual-wear brands, I did not expect this many companies. I have included Ontario in this post and will share companies across Canada in my next post. I have found that many Canadian companies are slow fashion, ethical and sustainable. This is definitely a positive aspect of shopping Canadian, in addition to supporting the Canadian economy.
Rebecca makes pieces for a capsule wardrobe and she recently launched an Athlete collection that is perfect for your fall wardrobe. These pieces are great additions to your closet. The bomber jacket is one of my favourite pieces in the collection!

At the moment, they are offering free shipping.

Copious Fashions is a Canadian Brand located in Ottawa. Each one of their products is made with longevity in mind. They just launched their femme sweater that you can customize with your three favourite names! I absolutely love the sweaters and what they represent. I also really enjoy the conscious heart sweater. Here is a quote from the website "The Conscious Heart Project is one that supports less waste in the fashion industry. Each ♡ is cut from a scrap of fabric that would normally be thrown away because it becomes to small to work with. Literally wear your love of fashion and supporting less waste in the industry with your Conscious Heart Sweater." I love that there is a focus on the environment. They are offering free shipping on orders over $150.
